Celebrated as World Health Day in 7 April

It is known that every April 7 is celebrated as World Health Day. This year’s World Health Day carries the theme “Our Planet, Our Health” which means “Our planet, our health.” The purpose of this theme is to remind us that by keeping the planet healthy, we are taking care of our health.

According to the WHO, more than 13 million deaths worldwide each year are caused by environmental damage, including the climate crisis. The climate crisis is the biggest health threat facing humanity.

More than 90% of people breathe unhealthy air due to burning fossil fuels, Climate change is a threat to human health that drives diseases such as cancer, asthma, heart disease, and mosquito-borne diseases such as Dengue, then pollution and plastics that reach the ocean floor Even our deepest thoughts can damage our food chain.

WHO said that “In the face of pandemics, planetary pollution, and rising diseases such as cancer, asthma and heart disease, WHO will focus global attention on the actions needed to keep people and the planet healthy and encourage movement to create well-being-focused societies.” .”

Therefore, it is important for us to maintain the health of our planet so that we avoid the diseases and threats described above. The better the state of our planet, the better the number of health in this world.

There are many ways we can do to keep our planet healthy, such as not littering, separating organic and non-organic waste for proper management, then Stop burning fossil fuels such as petroleum, coal, and natural gas because it can reduce air pollution, keep fossil fuels in the soil for a healthy planet and a healthy us.
