UFC star Conor McGregor will make his debut as an actor by starring in the film Road House. He became one of the actors in the film that made Jake Gyllenhaal the main character.
A source revealed that McGregor will play an original character in the film, not as himself. However, the details of the character that the MMA fighter will play are not yet known.
Conor McGregor will join the already announced line-up, including Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior and Gbemisola Ikumelo.

Additionally, Luke Gage, Hannah Love Lanier, Travis Van Winkle, B.K. Cannon, Arturo Castro, Dominique Columbus, Beau Knapp, and Bob Menery also star in the film Road House.
The film was directed by Doug Liman. Meanwhile, the screenplay was done by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry.
Based on a report from Deadline on Wednesday (3/8), McGregor did not want to be directly involved in the Hollywood film industry because he wanted to find a project that was right for him.
When Conor McGregor became interested in the Road House film project, a source revealed that he ended up watching the 1989 original and actually liked it.

The UFC star finally got really interested in joining the film after meeting producer Joel Silver from Silver Pictures. Sources say McGregor likes the plot of the story compared to the original film. He also became curious about how his character would contribute to the role in the film Road House.
The film Road House will tell the story of a former UFC fighter, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. He works as a roadhouse aka bar keeper in the Florida Keys, USA. However, this former fighter realizes that life is not as bright as that tropical paradise.
Road House will begin filming in the Dominican Republic this month. The film will be broadcast via Prime Video streaming service in 240 countries.
