Hugh Jackman Returns To Play Wolverine In “Deadpool 3”

A long awaited good news finally appeared. Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine once again in “Deadpool 3” alongside Ryan Reynolds. Rumors have long circulated that Jackman could one day return to the role of Wolverine after Logan. And now, it has been answered with certainty.

Reynolds has officially announced that Jackman’s Wolverine will return in “Deadpool 3”, which officially hits theaters on September 6, 2024. Confirmation comes in a video with Reynolds joking about having no idea what “Deadpool 3” is.

Reynolds says he’s been digging deep in the years since 2018’s “Deadpool 2” to deliver another successful installment into the beloved Marvel franchise. He finally (jokingly) admits he’s run out of ideas so far, and viewers can see Jackman walking through the background.

The video ends with Reynolds saying he had an idea, and he pitched the idea to Jackman. Jackman, who heard the offer, agreed to return as Wolverine in “Deadpool 3”. After it was confirmed that Wolverine was back in “Deadpool 3”, Jackman became Reynolds’ first confirmed co-star. It also means Jackman finally gets a chance to join the MCU.

He previously said that he would love to join that universe as Wolverine and interact with Iron Man. In any case, Jackman playing Wolverine again in Deadpool 3 is one of the best news that many had hoped for. As the star of 20th Century Fox’s original X-Men franchise, Jackman had played Wolverine for nearly two decades before ending it with 2017’s “Logan.” Although Reynolds and Jackman previously starred together in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, the response to the film has been not so good.

Sigourney Weaver Reveals There Was A Love Scene In The ‘Alien’ Initial Script

Actress Sigourney Weaver has been known for her acting in the film “Alien”. In a recent interview, he made a pretty surprising confession while guesting on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. On that occasion, he talked about his career. Of course, he talks about that 1979 sci-fi film, the Ridley Scott film that helped him become a superstar and launch a billion-dollar franchise. Weaver said that in one version of the screenplay, there was a love scene, which he told Scott during their first meeting as nonsensical.

“Are you really going to wear it while this thing is hanging around?” he remembers his winning argument. Maron agreed it would frustrate horror stories with silliness. On that occasion, he explained that he had difficulty acting in the film because he was 6 feet tall. Weaver said he didn’t know what to expect when he met Scott for the film.

“Fox didn’t want me. I was an unknown person, and there were people with names trying to get this part. (But) I was on the (producer’s) list for reasons I don’t know,” he explained. “I’m not really interested. It’s science fiction, and I know very little.”

When asked if her role as Ripley was in the script, the actress explained that initially there were no female characters before producer Walter Hill and the late David Giler revised the story to include two women aboard the Nostromo. According to them, it would be quite interesting when it was a female character who survived. “So they really do it for story reasons, whereas they like strong women,” he said. Besides Weaver, another female character is Lambert, played by Veronica Cartwright.
