Previously, Idris Elba was rumored to be playing James Bond to replace Daniel Craig who retired. However, he felt he was too old to be James Bond. “I’m 50 this year. Let’s dream of starring in three films, no one wants to see Bond chasing or beating criminals when he’s 60,” said Idris Elba.

“I seem too old to take on that role now,” he said as reported by Today Online, April 6, 2022 ago. However, he is very interested in starring in James Bond films in the future. According to him, acting as Bond’s opponent would also be extraordinary.
