Inter Milan managed to win the 2022/2023 Coppa Italia. This success was obtained after they beat Fiorentina in the final.
Inter faced Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia final which took place at the Stadio Olimpico, Thursday (25/5/2023) early morning WIB. The Nerazzurri became champions after winning with a score of 2-1.
Fiorentina had actually excelled earlier in the match. Nicolas Gonzalez managed to break into the Inter goal in the 3rd minute.
Not finished the first round, Inter can reverse the position. Two goals from Lautaro Martinez (29′, 37′) put Inter ahead.
Fiorentina were unable to score another goal until the game ended. The Coppa Italia trophy this season finally belongs to Inter.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina had to bite their fingers. La Viola’s Coppa Italia trophy collection still numbers seven. The last moment that Fiorentina lifted the Coppa Italia trophy was back in 2001.
