The young people of Seoul were shocked by the hip-hop culture, the unique style of dress, the absorption of foreign languages, including the culture of speeding cars. The culture of speeding is very much interpreted by five energetic young men who formed a racing gang called the Sanggye-dong Supreme Team, aka the Bbangkku family.

This racing gang is led by the number one street racer named Dong-wook (Yoo Ah-in) with his members, namely DJ John Woo (Go Kyung-pyo), Bok-nam (Lee Kyu-hyung), Yoon-he (Park Ju -hyun), and Joon-gi (Ong Seong-wu).

The five of them have their own reliability that complements the racing gang’s specialty. However, the work of the Bbangkku family is not only on the streets. Their talent and track record is traced to the Chief Prosecutor (Jung Woong-in).

My Bbangkku family got a job project offer that they had a hard time refusing. They were asked by the Attorney General’s Office to investigate the flow of funds resulting from embezzlement, bribery and fraud. The mission is clearly dangerous, especially when they meet the figures of Lee Hyun-kyun (Kim Sung-kyun) and Kang In-soong (Moon So-ri). Both are important figures in Seoul and become the main target of their investigation.

Hyun-kyun is the General Manager who is a vital figure in the distribution of illicit funds. Meanwhile, Kang In-sook is the mastermind behind this illicit flow of funds. This problem certainly spoils the excitement of the Bbangkku family’s children. However, they could not help but take the offer. Action speeding into their expertise was unavoidable. The car chases often lead them to dangerous situations.

On the one hand, the opening ceremony of the 1988 Seoul Olympics will take place on the same day. So, the Bangkku family had to deal with the way the car chase didn’t ruin the opening ceremony of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Seoul Vibe was directed by Moon Hyun-sung with a script written by Sua Shin.

In addition to the main characters in the Bbangkku family, Seoul Vibe also presents several other actors, such as Song Mino as Galchi aka Dong-wook’s main rival, then Lee Se-young, Kim Chae-eun, Chun-sik, and Oh Jung-se. Seoul Vibe premieres August 26 on Netflix.
